Facebook Online Dating Scammer - Rip Off - Con Artist!
Carlito Jordan Jowell - Facebook Scammer
Information is wanted on this smooth talking scammer (con-artist, fraudster). Speaks really good English but has British or South African accent. Very likely an African
male. He uses facebook (social networking sites) to meet his victim. He gains
the victims trust over time, develops a friendship (relationship) with them, has
a story that he is working in the gold industry, he is either heading over to
Africa to work, or his stories varies that he is there now, and going back and
forth to New York. Sometimes he is a gold consultant, other times he is working
directly on a contract with a gold company. He then comes up with a really sad
story for his victim, he's been in a car accident, he is in the hospital, he
needs money for medical expenses, to catch a flight, he has malaria, etc.
Jowell works his victim for a little at a time. He tells the victim
that he has gold bars, he sends pictures of the gold bars to the victim. He then
promises the victim in exchange for sending him money he will pay them back with
interest in gold. He never pays the victim back and always has new stories. He
even has a crew of accomplices that help him scam, when he has the victim on the
phone; for example, impersonating police officers, lawyers, attorneys, federal
agents, and demand more and more money from his victims. Sometimes his story
will be that he is being held hostage for a debt, each time he needs more-and-more money. He will even pretend to be a Christian and say "God Bless You" like he really appreciates the help. One victim told Jowell that she knew he was a fraud and he threatened suicide. If suicide doesn`t work Jowell threatens the victim with the police, or that he is going to publish thier personal information all over the internet.
One victim so far, he has taken for over 20K. Do not send this person any money. If you are dealing with this scammer please contact us ASAP!
